Bona Vita Architecture.
I worked at Bona Vita for 3 months during the summer of 2018 right after my first year of college. I was able to work on a wide variety of things and learned a lot about the industry. Some of the projects that I was greatly involved in include Goshen, IN Hospital, Three Rivers FCU Bank, and student housing in Kokomo. I worked in programs such as Revit, AutoCAD and Sketch Up to create schedules, add materials and renderings. I also worked closely with Melissa Hall, the Interior Designer at the firm, to choose various types of materails for different buildings. I learned a lot about different brands of materials and what makes some good and others bad.

Three Rivers FCU Bank
These are some renderings from a project I worked on for Three Rivers FCU bank. While these renderings are not mine and I did not create them, they do show the materials that I put in the building very well. The clients wanted to keep a similar look between their branches so we stuck with blues throughout. However, they wanted to go with a more modern approach with the concrete and blue LVT in certain place. The carpet that we selected was inspired by some of Interfaces pictures with a gradient between the carpet tiles. The overall picture shows the transition the best.
Goshen Hospital
This is a huge ongoing project that Bona Vita Architecture is involved in. The hospital is ever-changing and also presents unique challenges between working around staff needs and recognizing that the top priority is the patients. This was just one area that was being worked on at the moment but Bona Vita was involved in past changes and plan to be in future ones as well. I mainly focused on perfecting the little details for construction documents as this project was very far along. It was very exciting to work on a project that is from my hometown and that I have been inside many times.
