Extracurricular Projects.
These are projects I worked on in my free time during school. I received no grade or compensation for any of my work involved in these projects. Many of them involved me working closely with my peers.
Big Ten Design Competition
This competition includes any Big Ten schools in the area. At each school, various teams enter and present to a panel of judges who chooses which team moves on to the next level. Each school nominates one team and of those teams, Herman Miller, the sponsor of the competition, chooses three teams to come to Grand Rapids, MI to present to their panel. From there, they choose a winner of the three teams. The winning team's space then gets built and they receive a cash prize of $2,000.

Bloomfield Library Project
The local library in Bloomfield, IN purchased an annex building from a bank that went out of business. They are in the process of transforming the space into various different things such as a co-work space, a place for their book sale, a rentable room for parties, and rentable space in the basement for various businesses. In order to move forward with this process, they are applying to grants in order to pay for the construction. A large portion of the budget will be spent adding an elevator, making the basement accessible to everyone, and bringing the building up to current code standards.
